Going green? Go to hell.

Watching TV today and a TD Bank commercial came on that started preaching about how they have been friends to the environment since the begining and a graphic of the TD chair in a wooded area served to visually represent this(no shit). That's when I came to a sudden realization that stirred strong violent emotions in me. I'm sick to death of this "Green" trend towards EVERYTHING. I can understand having a concern in keeping our environment clean and wanting to protect nature and all that however I draw the line at companies like TD Bank telling me they have been Green Eco friendly tree huggers for sixteen years.

If you have been so eco-conscious for so long and are so damn proud of it then why is this the first time we've ever heard about it? Oh ya because you haven't its just the trendy thing to fuckin say!

I'm somewhat curious as to what TD even considers to be eco-friendly business practices? How does a bank protect our enviroment or protect us against global warming?. Ridiculous.

Maybe some of you might say "I FLICK OFF" to help stop global warming. This is the latest advertising campaign to try to reduce our power consumption and thus our emissions thus in turn supposedly helping reduce global warming(in reality doing nothing). I think to myself "well I dont buy it but maybe its true who knows? maybe if I were more environmentally conscious I would care. If I was a company like TD I would definitely care! look at that cmmercial!". Then as I think of possibly turning off the light that is always left on in my closet (to stop the monsters)to do my part and help save the planet I look south out of my apartment. What do I see? The TD towers light up like a Christmas tree at 10pm on a Sunday night and the huge TD logo hovering proudly above.

Cut this eco friendly trend riding shit, it only serves to make you look like a bunch of pompous asses .

i agree baynes. i wonder how many executives invest all their salaries into money making oil refineries too. or other money making co2 emitting factories of some kind. not to mention the amount of companies that td probably has all their money invested in. sure you changed your fucking bulbs to compact florescent, but you're still the fucking problem you greedy cocksmokers.
